Not only did Luca capture each moment perfectly, but he patiently led me through every step along the way including the nuances of how to make a surprise proposal at such a busy location go smoothly. Luca spent so much time with me over the phone explain how to make the surprise proposal work; we even had backup plans for the proposal if needed, as things can always change. He walked me through every detail and had great advise because of his great wealth of experience having done this so many times. He even had great food recommendations for our trip! I was nervous about the weather as there was rain forecasted the week heading in but the sky was clear the morning of the proposal and it couldn't have been any better. My now fiance was completely surprised and had absolutely no idea. Thank you to Luca and Shootrome, we will treasure this memory and these photos forever.

As someone who was not intimately familiar with the area I wanted to propose, ShoottRome worked with me to make sure the proposal happened withtout a hitch. They were extremely quick to respond and answered all of my questions (I had a lot). Having our photos taken by Shoot Rome was a wonderful way to capture our family's first trip to Rome together. Luca our photographer was incredibly helpful and offered us guidance on getting great shots. Luca also kept in communication with us leading up to the shoot date and even tweaked our time to accommodate an impending storm (which never came). Such an amazing experience and would recommend to anyone!! Luca was there any minute I needed him leading up to the big day. I was worried on the size of my ring box and he called me straight away to talk through options and put my mind at ease. He also booked the table for my dinner afterwards since I was struggling to book in with them. He sent me lots of recommendations for dinner on WhatsApp, as well as sending pics of the pizza he had at one of the places himself! Luca really helped me make the best experience from this. We aren’t the most photogenic people but he helped us get the best possible shots. I would of been so much more nervous about it all without the help from Luca! The photos are incredible and I can’t thank him enough for his time with us and he really does care so much! Thanks again!!

So, I decided a few months ago to organize a photo shoot for a surprise proposal. Lucas did his job and he did it really well. He was invested in both the organization and the shoot and that was really fun. He did everything to make sure we had a good time, he talks easily, he makes the right decisions, he's honest, he's in a great mood,... Shoot Rome took bachelorette pictures for 8 bachelorettes and the future bride in July, 2022. Taking picture of almost 10 women around Rome in blasting heat is not an easy task, but our photographer was patient, and thoughtful and we not only made memories that would last a lifetime, but had tons of fun (and champagne!!!) on the way!

To say that Luca is amazing would be an understatement! From the planning to the actual proposal, he helped guide and support every step of the way. Luca is one of the nicest guys we have ever met and it was an honour to have him photograph our special moment. He was great with both myself and my partner Hannah, firstly capturing the actual proposal but then in guiding the photoshoot afterwards. We were photographed in some beautiful spots at sunset and Luca really knew what would work for the photos, whilst also letting us have some fun with it - He provided us with some images to share with family and friends on the same evening and we were blown away with what he managed to capture. Luca is the best photographer I could have had for my surprise proposal. He is so passionate about his job. He takes amazing portraits and makes you feel very natural and comfortable. I can see the result of that: beautiful and natural pictures. He exactly feels when to instruct you and when not to. And the most important thing: he is a very kind person. Luca is not just a photographer. He took the time to know a little bit of us at the start of the shoot. Very hands on and even suggested poses, spots and even local Roman restaurants! The pictures were also great. It exceeded our expectations.

From the moment I first contacted Luca, he was warm and friendly, understanding, reassuring and full of advice and experience to help guide you. Luca does not shape your proposal or eliminate your ideas - instead taking the time to listen to you/get to know you, and in turn helping to enhance them so that the moment is everything you imagined. Before the trip, Luca took the time to facetime me - again offering reassurance and helpful tips, as well as giving me all the information I needed to feel anxiety-free. I received email follow ups and the comfort that he was at the other end of the phone whenever needed. On the day, he knew exactly how much contact to make and was discreet and professional - allowing us to have our moment before gradually meeting us to take any pictures we wanted with his input and advice. The follow up and after care was exemplary and I couldn't fault the entire experience. Although lengthy, my review is simple - look no further, Luca is your man! Thank you again.

It was a great experience to become a newly engaged couple with Luca's help and the wonderful pictures he captured. I fully recommend ShootRome if you have any plans of proposing to your significant other in the Eternal City. Luca helped me through the whole process and was very kind. Once we got to meet, after I popped the big question, we had a great talk as we got to wrap up the photoshoot. The best part is that he is passionate about his work.

Luca was the best choice I could have made! He was amazing, really receptive and open. He even helped me get flowers for my soon to be fiance, because I could not spoil the surprise for her. During our preparation chats he offered my the best options for the event, where to propose etc. and he chose the best hour for our photos: sunset. Meeting with Luca at the agreed placed went perfectly, even though we have not seen each other until then. During our photo shoot after I proposed, Luca tought us how to pose and told us what to do for us to get the best photos. All in all, our photos were amazing and we had a great time!

Luca is such a multi-talented photographer and organizer. He took care of everything from start to finish. He really went out of his way to talk to me on the phone multiple times to reassure me of all the steps as I prepared for our special moment. On the day, he was very professional and made sure we were comfortable with everything. We had a secret proposal shooting with Luca on the 13th June 2021. When I first contacted him, he directly gave me a lot of information about his services, location etc. From the beginning I had a feeling that he was the right person, that is why I decided to choose him. Before we came to Rome, we settled a call, during which he explained in detail how it will look, where we go and what we should do. He also suggested me different locations in which I could propose. Thanks to a very good organization, he took away a lot of stress from my shoulders on this important day. The atmosphere during the shooting was very easy, but at the same time very professional and we had a lot of fun. From the beginning we felt that we were in good hands. The quality of the pictures is amazing, all our friends and family are under big impression. I highly recommend Luca and his services, it is an amazing memory and we even consider to hire him as our wedding photographer.

When I surprised my partner for her birthday I knew I wanted to reconfirm what we already knew and wanted to ask her the ultimate question. Luka made the whole experience complete and helped me achieve this. I told my partner that I had booked a family photo shoot around Rome for her birthday gift, little did she know the actual gift would be a lifetime with me ...lol... Luka was very helpful from the very beginning giving me information about the places we would visit along with keeping in touch via call & emails. He was very accommodating when we had a last minute change of date. Upon arrival Luka made us all feel very at ease. He involved our little one throughout the entire photo shoot. Luka was very comforting and gave guidance when needed to get the best of our photos. He was very considerate and was always focused on us, we did not feel rushed and didn't realise he was there at times capturing some of our most natural pictures. We cannot recommend Luka enough, he was very kind, considerate and passionate about his work, also great at babysitting the little one while I asked the big question.

I could not have asked for a better experience for my wedding photos. To start, Luca was very kind and considerate of my needs and the event. My wedding was initially cancelled because of Covid19, but then the possibility of a small wedding became possible. Luca was very understanding of the date changes. He prepared well in advance, asking if there were any particular locations or types of poses which we'd like and gathered some information on the type of wedding it was. He came to my wedding early, with a mask and extremely well prepared. He was also very polite and helpful towards my guests in creating the best photos. He is professional and thorough on several levels. He made sure to perfect the direction of light, our body posture and poses. He was also considerate in making the most complimentary poses for me, as I was seven months pregnant at the time. Our pictures were sent to us in high and low resolution within two weeks and communication was constant, clear and courteous. Luca was also very flexible in time and price. I'd highly recommend him and his staff for any type of event. Thank you!

He was amazing. The experience was very personal since he reaches out well beforehand the shoot to discuss what the goals of the shoot are and how to best them. He was very flexible with the time and didn't press us down to the second when we went a little over our time so he can show us a spot that wasn't originally part of the plan that ended out working great. His eye is very experienced and that is evident in the photos, and his knowledge of the areas in Rome helped us capture some photos in locations that I would have otherwise passed by without knowing they even exist. He was very friendly and gave us some good food tips while we were out as well. His response time after the shoot was un-rivaled by any experiences I have had with photographers. Within two days I had pictures I could share on instagram, and before the vacation was over I had the photos in my e-mail. He was definitely a pleasure and I would definitely recommend his services to anyone. If I could, I would have him be the photographer on all the travelling vacations I do he is honestly that amazing to work with. His english is also impeccable making it very easy to discuss ideas for the photo shoot, and even though I only intended to take photos of the proposal in Rome and then other engagement photos when I got back to the states, the quality of the photos he took took our breath away and they will now become our engagement photos as well take up some living room wall space when we frame them. Would not go to anyone else for a photo shoot, well worth every penny.

So glad I found Shoot Rome when I was looking for someone to take pics of me and my teenage son in Rome! I am very pleased with the pictures, I absolutely love them! Luca was wonderful! With this review there's a backstory or else you'd think we went over the top with their wedding outfits or that we got married in Rome. This is not the case. We were approved to meet the Pope for Sposi Novelli, wherein newlyweds can apply to arrange a meeting with the Pope. Stipulation for the meet was to be dressed in our wedding attire Being accepted to meet new him we packed our bags and flew off for our honeymoon in Rome. Since it's a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet the Pope and we're dressed in our Sunday best, ... we decided to call up a local photographer in Rome to help capture some memorable moments in Rome to add to our memories. This is where Luca comes into our story. Upon meeting him he was very cordial and friendly. He introduced himself and actually took the time to get to know us a little before we started taking photos. Luca wanted to capture our personal charms and how we interact as a couple. He was able to capture the playful side of me and of course how elegant and beautiful my wife looks in her dress! With this review I'm sure pictures will serve more justice to what Luca was able to capture for us! If you're short for time, he can also arrange for a team to do your hair and makeup prior to the shoot. Communication between us and his team was excellent (we used WhatsApp). We can't thank him enough for an enjoyable time shooting with him and allowing us to have fun at the same time! He definitely has an eye for pictures and with his warm yet professional personality, you'll want to have him tag along for the rest of your travels in Rome! Thanks again Luca! My partner and I had our first trip to Rome, Italy and we decided we wanted to make our vacation extra special with our very first photo shoot together! Luca was extremely wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. He was very quick to respond to all of my messages, so communication with him was effortless. He even took his time to ensure he captured all of our special moments together. The photos came out amazing and my partner and I couldn't be happier!
