Only a true romantic-at-heart could pick Rome to celebrate his partner's birthday as well as propose to his future-wife-to-be. Parm was looking for a very special location to propose to Manni, easy enough to reach with their beautiful 3½ daughter Arya. The Pincio Gardens with its beautiful Terrazza on Viale del Belvedere, have proven to be ideal, for its beautiful scenary, and because it's a 5-minute walk from the iconic Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna, even with a pram. The idea was to hide a Surprise Proposal in a Family Photo shoot in Rome. Manni, Parm, Arya and I met in Piazza di Spagna, outside Babington's Tea Room, next to the Spanish Steps. After making their acquiantance, I shot a few pictures next to the famous Barcaccia fountain and after that we climbed the Spanish Steps for some more iconic images. An hour into the photo shoot, as the golden hour was approaching, we moved to the Terrazza in Viale del Belvedere where Parm finally proposed to Manni, with Rome as a beautiful backdrop. Proposals are always very emotional and this one was no different. Beautiful shots of raw emotions followed. As the sun was approaching the horizon, we moved to the Pincio Gardens for some more iconic shots with Saint Peter's dome in the background. We decided to wrap up this beautiful hidden proposal photoshoot on the Spanish Steps using Piazza di Spagna as background lit by the warm street lights.
The Pincio Gardens with its beautiful Terrazza Belvedere is propably the most romantic spot for a surprise proposal to rembember.
When I surprised my partner for her birthday I knew I wanted to reconfirm what we already knew and wanted to ask her the ultimate question. Luka made the whole experience complete and helped me achieve this. I told my partner that I had booked a family photo shoot around Rome for her birthday gift, little did she know the actual gift would be a lifetime with me ...lol... Luka was very helpful from the very beginning giving me information about the places we would visit along with keeping in touch via call & emails. He was very accommodating when we had a last minute change of date. Upon arrival Luka made us all feel very at ease. He involved our little one throughout the entire photo shoot. Luka was very comforting and gave guidance when needed to get the best of our photos. He was very considerate and was always focused on us, we did not feel rushed and didn't realise he was there at times capturing some of our most natural pictures. We cannot recommend Luka enough, he was very kind, considerate and passionate about his work, also great at babysitting the little one while I asked the big question.
