An Iconic Destination Wedding in Rome with Laura and Andrea

Indeed all roads lead to the Eternal City of Love. Laura and Andrea, newly-weds from Calabria, wished to seal their forever love with a romantic and iconic photo shoot in the ancient city of Rome. Nothing tells a beautiful story of love like a photo session in heart of the Rome. When I met this beautiful and happy couple, I immediately felt vibes of positive energy coming from them, energy I could harness to make beautiful and unique images. And so we did. With Andrea we discussed the itinerary in detail, so as to follow the sun on its path. And the Colosseum seemed the most natural spot to start from. As is customary, I gave my wedding couple a comprehensive primer on dynamic posing, something they embraced wholeheartedly. Despite the crowds, and the couple's wedding attire, we managed to move from place to place very quickly. We "consumed" the Colosseum in less than 50 minutes, making the most of the iconic vantage points and the beautiful warm sunlight. Next, we headed to the iconic Capitoline Hill couples from all over the world love so much the great number of photo ops it offers. The Roman Forum overlook, the majestic collonnades, the enchanted Terrazza Caffarrelli are some of the many "corners" where I love shooting couples in love. On our way to Piazza di Spagna and the iconic Spanish Steps, we couldn't help but stop at the Trevi Fountain. A must-see, even if you, like me, are a regular. When we finally arrived in Piazza di Spagna, we climbed the Spanish Steps and took a few more pictures, mixing the beautiful blue hour light with the warmth glow of the street lamps. We wrapped up our wedding photo session there with a warm, though virtual, hug.
