I met this lovely family from a far corner in Piazza della Rotonda, Pantheon, for a lively family photo shoot in the heart of Rome. The weather was playing tricks on us, but we very well took that into our stride. It was a warm day and the kids loved the rain, and I enjoyed taking pictures of them playing getting wet. After a while, the rain gave us a break and made our way to Piazza Navona, famous landmark loved by families and kids. The kids were free to roam about the square, as it's a pedestrian area, so quite safe. Given the large space the Piazza offers, I took a few family shots as well as some couple shots. The worst seemed to be almost over and we kept walking leisurely towards Castel Sant'Angelo. By the time we arrived, a warm sun was out and we couldn't be happier. We took some phtoographs on the bridge, some single portraits of the kids and of course some images of mom and dad. We kept shooting until the last usable rays of sun, and arrived as far as Via Della Conciliazione, the street that leads to Saint Peter's Square. We wrapped the family photo session there with some single portraits. Images of the kids have been removed for privacy.
It should come as no surprise to that more and more families are coming to Rome on vacation. They all look for iconic, fun, elegant and strong portrait photography.
We booked a photo shoot with Luca and it was an amazing experience! Not only was he very professional, but friendly, patient and amazing with the kids. It even started raining for a short while, but he made the most of it, kept things rolling on and captured all the great moments. At the end, we had made another friend in Rome and I wanted to thank you Luca once again, he's amazing and the best!
Afsana picked the perfect day for a shoot. A clear sky and a beautiful sun were the right premises for light and airy photos.
